Fashion in 18th century Europe is a book that provides an extensive illustrated history of the clothing styles of the period. The book also has a detailed section on the Triumph of the Rococo which is appropriate for the theme of the project.
Looking at male costume was important in preparation to hire a costume of the right description. Becoming familiar with the attire worn by dukes of the time was something which has greatly helped my vision.
Looking at female clothing closely was also key, including the adornment so that I could familiarise myself with the styles and bring this into the modern day avant garde styling, through adornment and hair styling.
